Birdman has denies that Lil Kim’s allegations against YMCMB are true.
Lil Kim recently went on a long tirade about how the beef between her Nicki Minaj started. She pretty much blamed it on a deal gone bad with Birdman.
Lil Kim had originally said, ”It’s deeper than that. Me and Slim were friends for four years, and we decided we were going to go into business together. I was over there at Cash Money, I was getting ready to be partners with him. When I was over there, we were working a lot. I was in Miami and he would put me in the studio.”
Birdman now denies that that’s the case in a recent interview for MTV’s RapFix. ”Nah, ain’t no truth to that,” Birdman says of Lil Kim’s explanation. “We based on creativity. If you know about YMCMB and you ever followed us and been a part of our music, biting and stealing that shit just ain’t for us. All [those] rap wars, we just grinding for the money, sun up, sun down. It’s Nicki Minaj all day everyday.”
