Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne created a new petition in hopes of returning to the United States.
Rapper Shyne was deported from the United States in October of 2009, and he has since been living in Belize, his homeland.
During that time he signed a a new contact with Def Jam, reportedly for seven figures. Last week, Shyne created a petition on the White House’s page in order to get a visa to return to the States. Shyne is seeking 25,000 signatures to attempt to return to the United States.
Shyne converted to orthodox Judaism while serving his prison sentence stemming from the 1999 club shooting. He is asking for a visa based off his good behavior and community service since his conviction.
